Omaha Hi / Lo is a variant of Omaha with some slight modifications. There can be two winners of each pot, one high and one low. The high hand is the hand with the best poker hand ranking and the low hand is the worst hand, that does not have a pair or better, and where the highest card is at most 8. A wheel is the best possible low hand you can have (A-2-3-4-5).
PreflopEach person is dealt four cards face down and the person after the big blind starts the betting. After everybody has placed their bet/call/raise/fold the next round follows.
FlopThree cards are dealt to the middle of the table (the flop). These cards can be used by all players who are in the pot to complete their pokerhand. Another round of betting occurs and the player after the dealer starts betting.
TurnA fourth card is dealt to the middle of the table, making it a total of four cards that all players can use, called the turn. Another round of betting occurs and the player after the dealer starts again.
RiverA fifth card is dealt to the middle of the table, making it a total of five cards that all players can use, called the river. Another round of betting occurs and the player after the dealer starts betting.
ShowdownThe players who are left after the last round of betting show their cards in order from the one who laid the bet first. You must use two of your face-down cards and the three of the cards on the table to create your high or low hand, consisting of 5 cards total. If there is now low hand, the player with the high hand will get the entire pot.
